For the first time locally, Forum Theatre – also known as Theatre of the Oppressed – will be used to create a safe space in which members of the LGBTI community and the public may explore the intersections between sexuality, gender identity and religion.

Organised by Drachma in collaboration with ARC, this three-part project includes a session about the perils of conversion therapy facilitated by Fr René Camilleri and Nicholas Briffa on Friday, a screening of the film Boy Erased on March 9, and the Flourish From Oppression Forum Theatre event on March 16 from 9am to 6pm. This project is supported by Arts Council Malta – President’s Award for Creativity.
