A typical example of bad governance is the report by the Parliamentary Ombudsman when it is stated: all the good work that has been painstakingly built up over the last 32 years (under the leadership of prime ministers Eddie Fenech Adami, Alfred Sant and Lawrence Gonzi) to turn the army into a professional force, has been undermined by heavy-handed political interference. Obviously National Security Minister Michael Farrugia does not agree. Does he, for one single moment, believe that we are in complete agreement with him?

This is contrary to the good governance (together with accountability, transparency, non-corruption), that we have been promised.
