One can enjoy the beauty of Malta’s natural scenery as well as its heritage on a round-trip walk which will take those attending along Dingli’s breathtaking cliffs towards Fawwara.
Along the way one can listen to information about prehistoric cart ruts, a Bronze Age site, pass country chapels and learn legends related to the area.
After reaching Fawwara, the group will return to the starting point, so anyone by car will return to the same spot.
The walk is about three kilometres long, with part of the terrain being rough, so sensible walking shoes are recommended. The whole walk is calculated to take two to two-and-a-half hours.
The walk, organised by Flimkien għal Ambjent Aħjar, is taking place tomorrow at 10am. The group will be meeting near St Mary Magdalene chapel, Dingli Cliffs. For those catching a bus, they need to stop at the Maddalena bus stop. To book, go to https://culturemalta.org/.
