Kuluri Karnival, an event for all the family hosted by Esplora Interactive Science Centre in collaboration with Birdlife, will be held today and tomorrow from 10am to 6pm.

A nature-inspired workshop, suitable for children aged between three and seven, will be held today at 1pm, 3pm, 4pm and 5pm. Children will have the opportunity to use natural objects and magical herbs to make their own smelly potion and create their own animals using pine cones and colours found in nature.

Apart from Birdlife Malta’s contribution on the first day, Kuluri Karnival will consist of other events taking place on both days. Other collaborators include Alka Ceramics and Festivals Malta.

Kuluri Karnival carries an inter-generational theme whereby children, parents, guardians and grandparents are encouraged to explore, think and imagine through hands-on activities. Family workshops feature not only paints, masks and clay modelling, but also motors, cams, levers and mechanical sculptures.

For more information, call 2360 2300. Tickets may also be purchased directly from Esplora’s reception.
