New service to facilitate companies’ AI transformation process

CI Consulta, the advisory unit of Corporate ID Group, has teamed up with Alexiei Dingli, head of the Department of AI at the University of Malta, to set up its AI Enabling Unit and has launched a new service aimed at enabling companies to achieve an effective and robust Artificial Intelligence Transformation Process (AITP).

Jesmond Saliba, executive chairman of Corporate ID Group, explained that CI Consulta, which forms part of the company’s Insights Institute, believes in meaningful synergies to deliver best-of-breed services and advice in the areas which it operates.

“With our partnership with Prof. Dingli the company will perform an AI readiness audit, develop an AI strategy and help companies build AI capacity while supporting them develop an AI communication strategy.”

Prof. Dingli said that for an organisation to transform into an AI company, it needs to sufficiently understand AI and appreciate what it can do for the organisation. By doing so, potential areas of improvement can be identified and valuable AI projects can be implemented. These can either be outsourced or else delivered through in-house talent. But in the end, it is very important to recognise the direct value added which it contributes to the business.

The inclusion of AI in its portfolio strenghtens CI Consulta as a boutique specialised advisory firm which specialises in an array of services, including European affairs, geopolitical advisory and social impact advisory. CI Consulta complements Corporate ID Group’s corporate communications firm Corporate Identities.

2019 edition of Malta Hotels Directory published

The 2019 edition of the Malta Hotels Directory, published by Island Publications, is now available. This is the 20th edition of the directory that was first published in 1999.

The directory is produced by Mosta-based Island Publications on behalf of the Malta Tourism Authority, and is the official accommodation listing for the islands.

The 88-page directory lists all licensed hotels, guest houses and hostels on the islands, and also includes a calendar of events.

“It is heartening to see that in this digital age, there is still a need and want for a traditionally-produced version of this directory,” said IPL publisher Terence Mirabelli.

Hard copies of the Malta Hotels Directory 2019 are available from the MTA and may also be downloaded from the authority’s site www.visitmalta.com/en/hotels or Island Publication’s web page www.travelmalta.com.
