A call for applications has been issued for a grant to sponsor participation in SciCulture, a new, intensive five-day course in Greece in April that aims to bring together students and professionals from artistic, scientific and entrepreneurial backgrounds to learn how to work together in diverse teams to solve complex problems.

Participants will be able to focus on a range of topics during the course, including climate change issues, the Antropocene concept, artificial intelligence, the future of food, genetics and communications, science theatre, performance arts merged with science and the design thinking process.

These topics will be tackled by trainers and speakers from all over Europe through short lectures and hands-on workshops. Participants will also be mentored to go through a design thinking process to find the best solution to the address issues of concern to the EU.

The course is organised by the University of Malta, the University of Exeter, the University of Bergen, TU Delft and Science View as part of a project funded with support from the European Commission under the ErasmusPlus programme.

Applications for the grant are to be submitted by Thursday. For further information visit the website below.
