11.05pm Fulham confirm the signing of Havard Nordtveit from Hoffenheim on loan until the end of the season.

10.45pm Leicester have completed the loan signing of Youri Tielemans from Monaco until the end of the season, with Adrien Silva moving in the other direction, also on loan to Monaco until the end of the season.

10.30pm St Andrews have added a goalkeeper to their ranks in Elmadin Mammadov, from Azerbaijan.

Mammadov, 23 years of age, was recently playing in Georgia with FC Tskhinvali.

The Azeri goalkeeper has also played in Kyrygzstan at Alga Bishek after being on the books of FC Baku, Zira FC and Sabah FK in his native Azerbaijan.

10.15pm BOV Premier League side Mosta have signed another foreigner, as they acquired the services of American defender Tobi Jnohope.

Jnohope began his youth career with Chargers Soccer Club in Florida where he played for 10 years before joining the Sounders FC Academy in 2015.

On February 3, 2016, Jnohope signed a letter of intent to play college soccer at the University of Denver.

On March 25, he made his professional debut for Seattle Sounders FC 2, a USL affiliate club of Seattle Sounders FC. 

10pm Roma target Domagoj Vida has pledged his loyalty to Besiktas on transfer-deadline day. “I feel very welcomed and respected here in Turkey.”

Vida appeared to be closing in on a late move to Roma, but the deal never went through and the Croat - who was also linked with Inter and Juventus - has committed himself to Besiktas for the foreseeable future.

“I am privileged to be coveted by several well-respected European clubs, but I am also very grateful and thankful to the president [Fikret Orman] and club management for seeing me as an important part of Besiktas,” wrote the 29-year-old on Instagram.

9.30pm Udinese have officially signed former Brazil midfielder Sandro from Genoa on loan with obligation to buy.

Sandro only joined Genoa last summer but has started just nine times in Serie A this season.

The 29-year-old appears to have been brought in instead of his ex-Tottenham Hotspur teammate Tom Huddlestone.

9pm Chievo have signed Chelsea forward Lucas Piazon on loan until the end of the season.

Piazon was once dubbed ‘the new Kaka’ and had been heavily linked with Juventus before joining Chelsea in January 2012.

However, the 24-year-old has only played three times for the Blues, instead being loaned to Malaga, Vitesse Arnhem, Eintracht Frankfurt, Reading and Fulham.

8.45pm Manchester United goalkeeper Joel Pereira has joined Belgian side KV Kortrijk on loan until the end of the season.

8.30pm Chelsea are trying to find a club who will take Batshuayi on loan, but they are having a few problems with his wage demands.

Sky Sports News said that he is asking for £160,000 per week and this is a player who has scored eight Premier League goals since moving to chelsea for £33m. He has been on loan at Dortmund and more recently Valencia, but the latter did not work.

Earlier we were told loan deals were agreed in principle with West Ham and Real Betis, but they will not be able to meet his wage demands. And they also do not want to be paying Chelsea a £2m loan fee, or his representatives a £1m commission fee for setting the deal up.

8.15pm Mosta FC have re-signed Cameroon midfielder Jonas Ekani.

The hard-working midfielder will start his second spell with Mosta after playing for them a few years ago.

During his time in Malta he had also a spell with Sirens FC.

8.05pm Big deal over in Spain... Barcelona agree deal for Emerson for the summer.

8pm Empoli have officially signed left-back Cristian Dell’Orco from Sassuolo on loan with an obligation to buy.

Dell’Orco made just 37 appearances for Sassuolo in three-and-a-half-seasons and moves to an Empoli side who have already signed Kevin Diks, Marko Pajac and Diego Farias on deadline day.

Prior to the Neroverdi, the former Italy Under-20 international played for Novara, Parma and Ascoli.

7.50pm SPAL have officially signed Vasco Regini on loan with option to buy at the end of the season from Sampdoria.

The 28-year-old centre-back can also play on the left side of a four-man defence.

He did not make a single appearance for Samp this season and was growing increasingly frustrated.

7.30pm SPAL have reportedly struck a last-minute deal for Montenegro international winger Marko Jankovic from Partizan Belgrade.

It’s believed to be a permanent transfer at a cost of €1.8m.

The 23-year-old can play in a variety of forward roles, but is primarily on the left flank.

7.20pm Mosta have welcomed back Jonas Rodriguez Ekani, who was currently without a club.

The 26-year old joined Mosta in 2013 after a spell at Italy's Civitanovese. With the Blues, he played 105 games with five goals in all competitions. 

7.15pm Watford centre-back Ben Wilmot has reportedly agreed terms for a transfer to Udinese, claim Sky Sport Italia.

The England Under-20 international is only 19 years old and joined Watford from Stevenage in July.

He made six competitive appearances for the Hornets this season.

6.45pm France Football claim Nice have made an approach for Genoa forward Christian Kouame, already in talks with Juventus and Napoli.

It would be a huge surprise to part with the 21-year-old Ivorian on transfer deadline day, as Genoa sold Krzysztof Piatek to Milan for €35m plus bonuses last week.

He has already contributed four goals and five assists in 22 games this season, between Serie A and the Coppa Italia.

6.30pm Sampdoria have picked up Marco Sau from Cagliari and loaned Maxime Leverbe to the Sardinians.

Transfer deadline day has been very busy for the Blucerchiati with a series of moves.

Veteran striker Sau was a symbol of Cagliari, as he is from Sardinia, but the 31-year-old made the move just six months before his contract was due to expire.

6.05pm Cruzeiro goalkeeper Brazao is ready to agree terms with Parma, via Inter, rather than Chievo at a cost of €2.5m.

According to Sportitalia, Brazao’s agent is in the transfer HQ to work out the final details and prepare the paperwork.

Brazao had been heavily linked with Chievo over the last dew days, but it seems as if Parma have dived in with a winning proposal.

It’s believed to be worth €2.5m with Inter getting the first refusal for the future.

5.45pm Chelsea defender Gary Cahill has turned down potential moves to Juventus, Monaco and Fulham during the January transfer window, Sky Sports News is reporting.

The 33-year-old was unable to agree personal terms with Claudio Ranieri's side. He also turned down Juventus and Monaco in order to continue fighting for his place at Chelsea.

5.30pm Fulham have confirmed that Aboubakar Kamara has joined Turkish side Yeni Malatyaspor on loan until the summer.

The 23-year-old fell out of favour at Fulham after he was arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm and criminal damage after a fight at the club's training ground.

5.20pm Zach Muscat has just signed with the Portuguese side on loan until the end of the season.

5pm BREAKING NEWS... Malta international defender Zach Muscat is on the verge of joining Portuguese side SC Olhanense.

Italian portal Report Sport and SkySport Italia transfer journalist Gianluca Di Marzio are reporting that the Malta defender will leave Serie C side Pistoiese and move to Portugal.

SC Olhanense are in the third division of Portuguese football and are currently sixth in the standings, 11 points adrift of a promotion play-off place.

Muscat joined Pistoiese this season and was a regular starter for the Italian side, making 16 appearances in Serie C.

4.30pm Former Arsenal striker Charlie Nicholas is demanding that Arsenal strengthen their leaky defence and has branded the club's transfer policy as a joke.

4.15pm SkySports News reporter Kirsty Edwards says Leicester are close to signing Youri Tielemans from Monaco, with Adrien Silva moving in the other direction.

"Tielemans was at Leicester's training ground this morning. It seems that this is just a matter of finishing the paperwork. It's a loan deal until the end of the season - and a swap deal with Silva going in the other direction.

4pm Newcastle have confirmed the signing of Miguel Almiron.

The 24-year-old has penned a five-and-a-half year deal which will keep him at the club until 2024.

We understand the fee is a club-record £21m.

3.40pm Gżira United have made a late audacious move for Sliema Wanderers striker Frank Temile, the Times of Malta can reveal.

The Maroons are looking further bolster their squad and approached the Wanderers to sign the former Valletta striker.

However, the Wanderers have rebuffed the Maroons approach as they are keen to keep Temile.

3.15pm Scunthorpe United have given up hope of signing Kyrian Nwoko from Malta champions Valletta.

The Malta U-21 striker attended a short trial with the League One side this week and played part in a friendly match against a Select XI on Tuesday and managed to put his name on the scoresheet.

Scunthorpe held talks with Valletta but no deal was struck as the English side didn't want to pay a transfer fee for the player.

Scunthorpe manager Stuart McCall conceded defeat to the English media in his pursuit of Nwoko but added "that the deal could be revisited in the summer."

He played in a behind closed doors friendly against a Select XI on Tuesday and netted during a 5-0 win for the Iron.

3.05pm Newcastle United have officially signed former Italy Under-21 left-back Antonio Barreca from Monaco.

A statement on Newcastle's official website confirms Barreca has joined on loan with an option to buy, reportedly set at €9m.

The Magpies went back in for the 23-year-old after a deal for Lazio’s Jordan Lukaku fell through.

Barreca began his career at Torino, making 39 appearances for the Granata, before joining Monaco last summer.

2.55pm Calvin Camilleri has agreed to join Balzan from Mosta FC.

The 19-year-old moves to the Reds where he is expected to feature for Balzan's Youth League side for the rest of the season.

2.30pm Anthony Martial has signed a deal with Manchester United until June 2024, with the option to extend for a further year.

Martial said: “I am loving my time at this club. From the day I joined I have been made to feel part of the United family and I have been incredibly humbled and overwhelmed by the warmth and love of our fans, who continue to amaze me with their support.

“I would like to thank Ole and his coaching staff for their belief in me and for helping me to take my game to the next level. This club is all about winning trophies and I am sure the next piece of silverware is not that far away.”

2.15pm Southampton have rejected loan proposals from four Premier League clubs for striker Charlie Austin, according to Sky Sports News.

The Saints have made it clear that something will only happen if it’s a permanent transfer.

2pm Fulham are in talks with Cameroon captain Michael Ngadeu-Ngadjui over a proposed move to Craven Cottage.

Ngadeu-Ngadjui, 28, plays for Slavia Prague in the Czech Republic and can operate in either central defence or as a defensive midfielder.

1.45pm Genoa have confirmed that Lazio are in talks to sign versatile midfielder Romulo.

Romulo only joined Genoa from Verona last summer and has been a regular for the Rossoblu this season, but sporting director Giorgio Perinetti admits the Italo-Brazilian could be on his way to Lazio.

He told numero-diez.com: “It’s true that we're discussing Romulo’s future right now. We’re talking to the Biancocelesti right now.”

1.25pm Chelsea have agreed loan deals in principle for Michy Batshuayi with West Ham and Real Betis.

However, Chelsea value him at £30m and would prefer to sell to Everton.

1.15pm Denis Suarez has completed his loan move to Arsenal.

Unai Emery thinks Denis Suarez will bring versatility to his Arsenal team after the Barcelona man joined on loan.

Emery said: “We are very happy that Denis Suarez is joining us. He is a player we know well and I have worked with him at Sevilla. He brings us quality and options in many different attacking positions, so he’ll be able to help the team.”

1.05pm Schalke and Tottenham in talks over Vincent Janssen loan move, according to Sky Sports News.

There's also interest from Premier League clubs Burnley and Cardiff.

An unnamed club in France has also shown interest. His move to Real Betis is looking increasingly unlikely.

12.50pm Fiorentina winger Valentin Eysseric has joined Nantes on loan for the rest of the season.

The deal was confirmed by Nantes on Thursday morning, with the Ligue 1 club securing an option to buy Eysseric at end of his loan.

It marks a return to French football for the 26-year-old, who represented Les Bleus at youth level and previously played for Monaco, Saint-Etienne and Nice.

12.35pm Lazio midfielder Milan Badelj is reportedly in talks over a possible return to Fiorentina.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Badelj’s agent Alessandro Lucci is in Florence negotiating with the Viola.

The Croatia midfielder has started just seven Serie A games for the Aquile since arriving from Tuscany last summer.

Prior to joining Lazio, the 29-year-old made 140 appearances for Fiorentina in four seasons.

12.15pm Milan are reportedly in talks to sell Alen Halilovic to Sporting Liege and could sign winger Moussa Djenepo in exchange.

According to Sport Mediaset, Halilovic’s switch to Standard should go through in the next few hours.

The broadcaster adds the Rossoneri could ask to include Djenepo in the deal if they fail to bring in Allan Saint-Maximin from Nice.

Halilovic only joined the Diavolo from Hamburg last summer but has made just three substitute appearances this season.

12pm Parma have insisted that defender Bruno Alves will not be leaving the club for Juventus or anyone else today.

Alves had been increasingly linked with Juve after Medhi Benatia’s departure was followed by an ankle injury to Leonardo Bonucci.

However, sporting director Daniele Faggiano told Calciomercato.it: “Nothing’s been done for Bruno Alves.

“We haven't talked to anyone, not even with Juventus. Will he renew with Parma? Yes.”

11.50am Manchester United will wait until the summer before considering a bid for flying Dutch winger Steven Bergwijn, Sky Sports News is reporting.

The 21-year old, valued at in excess of £30m, is rated as one of the top young attacking talents in Europe and has played a key part in PSV Eindhoven sitting five points clear at the top of the Eredivisie.

United’s Head of Global Scouting, Dutchman Marcel Bout is a known admirer of the youngster who has ten goals and ten assists so far this season in 26 games. In October his form led to a debut call up for the national team.

11.45am Sam Vokes is on his way for a medical at Stoke City before completing a £10m permanent move to the Potteries with Peter Crouch going the other way.

Crouch is expected to arrive at Burnley later this morning for his medical.

The deal thought to be around £10m in total. Vokes cost Burnley around £300,000 in 2012.

11.30am According to reports in Germany, Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has rejected the opportunity to join French champions Paris Saint-Germain on loan for the rest of the campaign.

Suddeutsche Zeitung report that despite struggling to make an impact at the Emirates this season under new manager Unai Emery, Ozil is keen to remain in London.

11.20am Chelsea defender Gary Cahill is being linked with a deadline-day switch to Juventus.

According to Sportitalia, Cahill has been offered to Juve as a short-term solution, given they recently sold Medhi Benatia and lost Leonardo Bonucci to an ankle injury.

The Evening Standard is reporting that the Englishman can leave the Blues on loan, providing his wages are paid in full.

However, the newspaper warns his family are reluctant to move so the 33-year-old seems set to stay put.

11.10am Sebastian Giovinco has left Toronto FC to join Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal.

The deal was confirmed in a statement on Toronto FC’s official website, with Al-Hilal reportedly paying around $2-3m for Giovinco.

“I’d like to thank the fans and my teammates for four special years playing for Toronto FC,” said the 32-year-old.

“I’d also like to thank the club for helping me as I transition into the next phase of my career.”

11am Marouane Fellaini has passed his medical for his move to Shandong Luneng in China.

Move is subject to paperwork.

The Manchester United midfielder is currently recovering from a calf injury.

10.45am We kick off the day with the latest on Kyrian Nwoko's future as on Wednesday the Times of Malta had reported that Valletta had opened talks with Scunthorpe United. 

The Times of Malta can reveal that the chances of the former Malta U-21 striker moving to the UK are looking difficult as no deal has been reached between the Malta champions and the League One club.

Sources have told the Times of Malta that Scunthorpe wanted Valletta to release the player but the Citizens opposed the idea and informed the English side of their demands.

The next few hours could be decisive on whether Nwoko will move to the UK or stay at Valletta.

9.15pm Barcelona are keen to add Toulouse defender Jean-Clair Todibo to their squad this month and not wait until the summer, report ESPN FC.

Todibo is into the final six months of his contract at Toulouse and the agreed deal with Barca will see him remain in France this campaign before moving to the Camp Nou in July.

The report claims the 19-year-old wants a move this month, as do Barca – who believe it will aid his development, while Toulouse may look to cash in.

9.00pm Arsenal are negotiating with Chinese club Dalian Yifang for the loan deal of forward Yannick Carrasco, formerly of Atletico Madrid.

The 25-year-old, who moved to the Chinese Super League a year ago, is said to be open to the idea of a return to European football to advance his career.

Carrasco joined Atleti from Monaco in the summer of 2015 and netted 23 goals in 124 appearances for Diego Simeone’s side, including in the 2016 Champions League final.

8.35pm Milan are reportedly keen on Nice winger Allan Saint-Maximin but will find it ‘very difficult’ to sign him before Thursday.

According to Milan News, the Rossoneri like Saint-Maximin ‘very much’ and have already planned a summer assault for the Frenchman.

The website explains Diavolo director Paolo Maldini called the 21-year-old’s camp on Tuesday to see whether a deal could be done in January.

However, that would be ‘very difficult’ as Nice do not want to sell the wideman yet and have slapped a €35m price tag on him.

8.15pm West Ham have rejected a £7m bid from Valencia for Javier Hernandez, according to Sky sources.

Sky Sports News reported earlier this month that Hernandez is eager to leave the Hammers because of his lack of game-time, and that Valencia are interested in bringing him to La Liga.

On Saturday, Valencia manager Marcelino also stated how Hernandez was keen to join the team, but admitted the situation was "complicated".

7.45pm West Ham have completed the signing of Benfica teenager Mesaque Dju on a free transfer.

The 19-year-old winger, who has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract at West Ham, came through Benfica's youth system and has represented Portugal at every youth level from the U16s to U20s.

He was part of the Portugal side that won last year's European Under-19 Championship and the U17 Euros in 2016.

7.15pm As revealed by the Times of Malta earlier today, Sliema Wanderers have signed Argentine striker Ignacio Varela from Floriana.

The towering striker joins the Wanderers on loan from Floriana and will fill the void left by Brazilian striker Jefferson who moved to Gozitan side Nadur Youngsters.

7pm Mosta have announced the signing of Macedonian midfielder Demir Imeri.

The 23-year-old started the season in Finalan with PS Kemi Kings.

Throughout his career he had spells at top Macedonian clubs Shkendija and Rabotnicki.

He is expected to be part of Mosta's squad for Saturday's league match against Tarxien Rainbows.

6.45pm Barcelona have agreed a deal for midfielder Denis Suarez to join Arsenal on loan for the remainder of the season with the option to buy as part of the agreement.

6.30pm Japan midfielder Shinji Kagawa is set to join Monaco for the rest of the season from Borussia Dortmund, according to German media reports.

Several outlets report that Monaco are interested in signing the 29-year-old attacking midfielder, who has only made one start in the Bundesliga this season for league leaders Dortmund.

Monaco are currently in the Ligue 1 relegation zone and fired coach Thierry Henry last week, bringing back Portuguese handler Leonardo Jardim, who led Monaco to the French title in 2017.

6.15pm Valletta striker Kyrian Nwoko has been offered a contract by Scunthorpe United.

The Times of Malta reported earlier today that Nwoko is currently in the UK where he is under going a trial and it seems that the players has impressed the Scunthorpe coaching staff.

The League One side are currently holding talks with the player and the Malta champions as they look to finalise a deal before tomorrow's transfer deadline.

6pm Tarxien Rainbows are set to sign goalkeeper Dorian Bugeja on loan from Balzan FC.

The Rainbows have been very active in the last two weeks and see the young goalkeeper as an ideal addition to the squad.

Tarxien are also in the process of finalising the transfer of Prince Mambouana, the French defender, who has put pen to paper on an 18-month contract.

Both Mambouana and Bugeja have already attended their first training session with the Blues and could make their debut this weekend when Tarxien take on Saturday.

5.45pm Milan have reportedly made one final attempt to sign Yannick Carrasco, as Dalian Yifang are now open to a six-month loan deal.

According to Sky Sport Italia and Sportitalia, the Chinese Super League club decided to lower their demands.

Negotiations have been on-going with Arsenal, but do not seem to have reached a positive conclusion.

Inter are also in talks, but Antonio Candreva is not eager to make the move in the other direction.

5.30pm Real Madrid have identified 21-year-old Serbian striker Luka Jovic as the ideal long-term replacement for Karim Benzema, report AS.

Jovic, who is currently on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt from Benfica, is the Bundesliga's top scorer this season with 13 goals.

5pm Besiktas boss Senol Gunes has cast doubt over Roma’s chances of signing Domagoj Vida before Thursday. 

Roma were reportedly closing in on a deal for Vida, who helped Croatia reach the World Cup Final last summer, but Gunes suggested the defender was likelier to stick with Besiktas.

“Yesterday Vida seemed to be on the verge from leaving the team, it was all done,” Gunes said at a press conference.

“Today, however, it seems like he’ll stay. Anything can happen during the transfer window.”

4.45pm Atlanta United's Miguel Almiron has arrived on Tyneside to complete his club-record transfer to Newcastle United.

4.15pm West Ham have rejected an offer from Dutch club Heerenveen to take Reece Oxford on loan until the end of the season.

Sky Sports News is reporting that the player is now prepared to see out his contract until 2021 because of the politics surrounding the player and the way he has been portrayed.

4pm Genoa have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Poland Under-21 attacker Filip Jagiello.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, Genoa have ‘concluded’ their purchase of Jagiello, who will arrive from Zaglebie Lubin this summer.

The 21-year-old seems to have a similar profile to Krzysztof Piatek but is an attacking midfielder as opposed to a centre-forward, although he can play as a second striker.

3.45pm Marco Borriello has officially terminated his playing contract with Spanish minnows UD Ibiza but will continue to work alongside their president.

Borriello only joined Ibiza last summer, having left SPAL on a free transfer, but made just seven appearances for the islanders without scoring a goal and last played in the Spanish third tier over two months ago.

“I can inform you all that I’ve rescined, by mutual consent with the club, my sporting contract with Ibiza,” the 36-year-old wrote on Instagram.

“I take this opportunity to extend my sincere thanks to President Amadeo Salvo and all the staff, as well as the city of Ibiza."

3.30pm Floriana have an agreement in place to sign Albanian attacking midfielder Kristian Keqi.

The 22-year-old, who holds an Italian passport, was on the books of Lega Pro side Arezzo but has now agree to continue the 2018-19 season with Floriana.

Throughout his career, Keqi was on the books of Foligno, Potenza and Sangiovannese and also played for Pescara's U-19 side.

Keqi is expected to make his debut for Floriana when they face Hibernians on Saturday.

3.15pm Sliema Wanderers are in talks with Floriana to take Argentine striker Ignacio Varela on loan until the end of the season.

As reported by the Times of Malta on Wednesday, the Wanderers have decided to part ways with Brazilian striker Jefferson who was loaned out to Gozitan side Nadur Youngsters.

The Blues have now set their sights to replace the Brazilian by taking Varela on loan until the end of the season.

It remains to be seen whether the two clubs will manage to push the deal through before Thursday's transfer deadline.
