AQUILINA. On January 29, at St Vincent de Paul residence, ADELAIDE, aged 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Her loss is deeply mourned by her loving son Kevin and his wife Klejda, other relatives and friends. Funeral Mass præsente cadavere will be said this afternoon at 2 at Gżira parish church, followed by private interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers. CAMILLERI. On January 30, MARY nèe Spiteri, of Balzan, passed away suddenly. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Anthony, her son Jean-Marc and his partner Sephora, Christian and his wife Cornelia, her granddaughter Martina and her grandsons Matthias and Markus, her sister Carmen Mamo and her husband Joe, brother Alfred, residing in Australia, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at Balzan parish church, tomorrow, Friday, February 1, at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, would be appreciated. May she rest in peace.

FORMOSA. On January 30, at Karin Grech Hospital, VICTOR, passed away peacefully at the age of 92. He will always be loved and remembered by his wife Imelda, son Edgar, his grandson Noel, his sister Tessie, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. Funeral Mass præsente cadavere will be said on Saturday, February 2, at 9.15am, at St Augustine church, Tarxien, followed by private interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. MANCHE. On January 29, JOSEPH, passed away peacefully at the age of 77, surrounded by his family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Mary, his son Gordon, daughter Sharon and his beloved grandchild Mia, his sister Doris wife of William Spiteri, brother Lawrence and his wife Monica, brother-in-law Victor Chetcuti and his wife Marlene, sisters-in-law Jessie Seychell and Therese Chetcuti, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Friday 1, at 1pm, for Sacro Cuor sanctuary, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by private interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

SAUNDERS. On January 27, KATYA BERTHA, née Formosa, of Sliema, aged 61. She leaves to mourn her great loss her sister Marie-Therese and her husband Noel Galea Bason, her half-sisters Karen and her husband Anthony Hall, and Colette and her husband Richard Hunter, her nephews, numerous cousins, other relatives and many friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Friday, February 1, at 1.30pm, for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Balluta, St Julian’s, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to Caritas Malta, Floriana, would be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

VELLA. On January 30, LUCY, of St Venera, aged 86, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her irreparable loss her daughter Marika and her husband Ray, her son Simon and his partner Francielle, her beloved granddaughters Lianne and Lara, her beloved grandson Oliver and their fiancés, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, at 8am, for St Venera parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Villa Mgr Gonzi, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

PISANI – ANGELA. It’s hard to forget someone who gave us so much to remember. On the eighth anniversary of her demise, deeply missed by her husband Joe, relatives and friends. Lord, grant her eternal peace.

SCHEMBRI WISMAYER – Dr LINO SCHEMBRI WISMAYER. In loving memory of a beloved husband, father and grandfather on the 21st anniversary of his meeting with the Lord. Remembered with love and gratitude by his wife Celine, his children and in-laws, Mario and Pat, Nurtan and Sandro, Julienne and Chris, and his grandchildren, Maia, Nicola, Amik, Max and Timothy. Today’s 6pm Mass at Sacro Cuor Sanctuary, Sliema, will be offered in his memory.
