AQUILINA. On January 29, at St Vincent de Paul residence, ADELAIDE, aged 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Her loss is deeply mourned by her loving son Kevin and his wife Klejda, other relatives and friends. Funeral Mass præsente cadavere will be said tomorrow afternoon at 2 at Gżira parish church, followed by private interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers. May she rest in peace.
BALDACCHINO. On Monday, January 28, WISTIN of Żebbuġ, Malta. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Rosanne, his sons Josef and Gustav and their spouses, his grandson Luca, his mother Rosaria and sister Maria, other nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at St Mary’s (Knisja l-qadima) parish church, Birkirkara, tomorrow, Thursday, January 31, at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares would be appreciated. May he rest in peace.
GATT. On January 29, at Mater Dei Hospital, ANNIE, widow of Walter A. Gatt, residing at Casa Arkati, Mosta, aged 96, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss, her beloved children Maria and Ben Muscat, John and Josephine Gatt, Edwidge Borg and Michael Symons, Christine and Bjorn Gillgren, Josianne Stottrup, her grandchildren Lara, Ben, Brian, Ian, Josef, Alexander, Mark, Annika, David, Jennifer and their respective partners, her great-grandchildren Jake, Kane, Kate, Luigi, Mia, Sienna, Lawrence and Rowan, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, February 23, at 8am, for Our Lady of the Annunciation parish church, Balzan, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
GRASSO. On January 22, ALBERT VICTOR, went to meet the Risen Lord at the age of 92. He leaves to mourn his loss his dearest wife Maria, his brother Eddie and his wife Lucy, his sister-in-law Gladys, besides other relatives and friends. Mass to celebrate his life was said at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery chapel. Interment was held privately at his request. Lord Jesus, gentle Shepherd, grant him eternal rest.
MANCHE. On January 29, JOSEPH, passed away peacefully at the age of 77, surrounded by his family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Mary, his son Gordon, daughter Sharon and his beloved grandchild Mia, his sister Doris, wife of William Spiteri, brother Lawrence and his wife Monica, brother-in-law Victor Chetcuti and his wife Marlene, sisters-in-law Jessie Seychell and Therese Chetcuti, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Friday, February 1, at 1pm, for Sacro Cuor Sanctuary, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by private interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
VINCENTI. On January 28, at Mater Dei Hospital, HILAIRE of St Julian’s, aged 92, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said on Friday, February 1, at 9am, at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery chapel, followed by interment in the family grave. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
