Heritage Malta is holding a lecture on the ‘Ftira: a marker of identity?’ by food historian Noel Buttigieg.

Buttigieg will be engaging his audience through a discussion of the historical, artisanal and culinary qualities of the ftira, which is also being considered for inclusion in Unesco’s List of Intangible Cultural Heritage.

The lecture, in English, will take place today at 7pm at the Inquisitor’s Palace, Vittoriosa. Attendance is free of charge. For more information call 2182 7006.
