BONNICI. On January 19, OLGA née Antignolo, widow of Major Joe Bonnici, aged 94, passed away peacefully at Simblija Care Home, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sons Walter and his wife Theresa, Joe and Ramona, Henry and his wife Mireille, Peter Paul and his wife Veronica, her grandchildren David, Nikki, Laura and Mark Gasan, Marisha and Conrad Buttigieg Scicluna, Sandy and Marc Urpani, Steven and Ilona, Anthony and Karl, Julian and Hannah, her great grandchildren Jonathan, Nina, Nicholas and Lucas, her brothers Alfred and his wife Eileen and Josie, her brother-in-law Michael Briffa, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Simblija Care Home tomorrow, Tuesday, January 22, at 8.30am for St Julian’s parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Little Sisters of the Poor, Ħamrun, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
GRECH. On January 20, at Mater Dei Hospital, PAOLA of Vittoriosa, aged 83, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Lovingly remembered by her children, Joseph and his wife Anne, Sylvana and her husband Leo and Austin and his wife Claire, her grandchildren Daniel, Adam and his fiancée Jessica, Amanda and her husband Stan, Denise and Celine, her great-grandchildren Lucas, Eliza and Nathan, her sisters, and her brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, all other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday, January 23, at 7.45am, for Our Lady of the Annunciation church, Vittoriosa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
