News of Agnese’s passing to a better life was a great shock for all our families and for her many friends. The depth of people who attended the funeral Mass at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Grace in Żabbar, who she loved so much, showed how much Agnese was loved and respected both within the family and the community.

Her name may not strike a note with the famous but, for those who knew her, our mother will never be forgotten for her simplicity. Her life was one of giving, particularly to the nurturing of her beautiful family. She loved us unconditionally.

As Fr Joe Giuliano rightly said during Mass her faith was a gift to her family and those around her; she put her family before herself.

Mum, we are forever proud of what you left behind. There are not enough words to describe just how important you were to us and what a powerful influence you continue to be.

May our family and the persons who were blessed by her presence in their lives find comfort in the amazing memories of our dear mother.
