CARDONA. On January 19, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIA CARMELA, from St Paul’s Bay, passed away peacefully at the age of 81, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss, her husband Joseph, her daughter Sharon, her brother and sister, her brother in-law, her in-laws and their respective families, cousins, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital, tomorrow, Monday, January 21, at 7am, for Marija Addolorata parish church, St Paul’s Bay, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

MICALLEF. On January 13, at St Vincent de Paul residence, MARIJA of Luqa, aged 91, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her brothers Anthony and John, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Monday, January 21, at 2.30pm, for St Andrew’s parish church, Luqa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Luqa cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

MUSCAT. On January 18, BEATRIX, widow of Louis Muscat, of Valletta, residing in Balzan, passed away peacefully aged 73, at Casa Antonia residence, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Joanne and her husband Marco Cremona, David and his wife Loranna, her grandchildren Lara, Sam, Luiza Clara, her brothers and their wives, her in-laws and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Casa Antonia residence tomorrow,  Monday, January 21, at 8.15am, for Balzan parish church, where Mass præsente cadevere will be celebrated at 8.30am, followed by interment at the Mosta cemetery in the family grave. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, are welcome. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
