JAYE Malta’s company programme is back for yet another year, with new, young entrepreneurs raring to take on the enterprise world.

Enlight, mentored by AX Group, one of the companies taking part this year, is striving to achieve just that with its innovative app reminder, created to help students prepare for their benchmark exam.

No such study resource in the form of three subjects in one platform (app) currently exists.

“We wanted the app to have all the best, carefully planned and constructed exercises but also for it to contain light elements of fun to be able to retain the full attention of eight-year-olds without making them feel bored,” the team members said.

So, what makes this app different from the ones available? For a start, it is concise, meaning that once students enter the app, they are offered a brief explanation about the topic and what the exercises entail.

Students are now being forced to carry many thick books which are too vast for their syllabus. reMINDer would be able to change this.

Enlight also offers elements of fun and creativity, as well as photos, pictures and audio to facilitate and better the students’ learning experiences. After all at such a young age, education should be enjoyable.

The initiative was positively welcomed both through face-to-face encounters as well as on social media.
