The Malta Cultural Institute will be presenting its fourth concert of the MCI 2018/2019 season tomorrow at 7pm at the G. F. Abela Junior College Theatre, Msida.
During the concert the MCI will be presenting a pianoforte recital by Ricardo De Nittis, who will be playing the MCI Blüthner Concert Grand Piano. De Nittis, a very promising young pianist who has an ATCL Diploma from Trinity College, London, will be playing works by Chopin, Fauré and Alleví.
The second part of the evening will be presenting a saxophone trio made up of Alexander Cordina, Curtis Casha and Karissa Bugeja. They will be accompanied on the piano by Amy Borg. Also taking part will be dancers from the Mary Jane Bellia Ballet School, who will be performing solos and an ensemble excerpt from the classical ballet Les Papillons by E. Chausson.
The MCI painting exhibition for January will feature works by Frank Agius.
The coordination and presentation of the concert will be in the hands of Marie Therese Vassallo.
Free parking will be available for guests in the grounds of the Junior College during the concert. The Junior College theatre has lift facilities, providing easy access for guests with special needs.
