Gozitan artist Mark Sagona’s latest exhibition The Painted Psyche and Other Narratives 2000-2018 is on display at Palazzo de la Salle, Valletta, until Saturday.

The collection of paintings focuses on the concept of deep inner feelings, transmitted through the Gozitan artist’s continuous research on light and colour.

Through abstraction, Sagona conveys strong emotions that represent his state of mind at specific points in time, as well as an evolution of his own visual language.

The exhibition is curated by Nikki Petroni and is being organised by Valerio Ballotta of GBK Malta Ltd and project coordinator Christian Zammit.

Mark Sagona’s exhibition of paintings is running at Palazzo de la Salle, 219, Republic Street, Valletta, until Saturday, January 19. It is open from Monday to Friday between 8am and 7pm, and on Saturday from 9am to 1.30pm. Admission is free.
