He leaves to mourn his great loss his beloved wife Maria Carmela, his son James and his partner Bridget, his daughter Susan and her husband Tony, grandchildren Romina, Adrian, Natasha and Richard and their spouses, nephews and nieces, other relatives and many friends. MUSCAT. On January 7, JOHN, aged 84, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Jane, his daughter Rita, his brother Saviour and his wife Mary, all other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday, January 9, at 1.30pm, for the church of the Holy Cross, Order of the Capuchin Friars, Floriana, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. SAMMUT. On January 6, JOSEPH, former Director of Education, of Birkirkara, aged 79, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss, his beloved wife Marie, his son Edward and his wife Roberta, his sister Mary, Gladys widow of his brother Philip, his brother-in-law Alex and Saviour widower of his sister-in-law Josephine, all other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital, tomorrow, Tuesday, January 8, at 7.45am for St Joseph the worker parish church, Birkirkara, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment in the family grave at the Żebbuġ Cemetery. SANT. On January 6, ANTONIA, aged 90 passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her sister, Sr. Rose Therese of Our Lady of Sion of Jerusalem, her brother John and his wife Mary, Mabel widow of her brother Joseph, Mary widow of her brother George, her nephews and nieces, and other relatives and friends. A funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Tuesday, January 8, at 7.45am for Santa Venera parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 8.30am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery in the family grave.
