The Times of Malta reports that 20 people have been questioned by the police over cat killing comments. It also follows up on the pledge made by Opposition leader Adrian Delia to defend himself, following revelations that his estranged wife was claiming that there had been domestic abuse in connection with custody arrangements as part of separation proceedings.

L-Orizzont interviews the permanent secretary at the Social Solidarity Ministry, Mark Musu, who says that he agrees with the General Workers' Union proposal for trade union membership to be the default option.

In-Nazzjon reports that the Nationalist Party will do what it needs to ensure that the public get fair value for the land which is to be used by the Corinthia at Pembroke.
