A 49-year-old man was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday evening after he was hit by a car on the Coast Road.

The man, a British national who lives in St Paul’s Bay, was hit by a Honda Fit being driven by a 47-year-old Mellieħa resident at around 6.15pm.

Police, paramedics and a Civil Protection Department team were all called to the scene. No information about the victim's medical condition was available at the time of writing.
