Leguesse has been living in Malta for the last 35 years. He is a proud father of four and grandfather-to-be very soon. He travelled a lot and everywhere he goes he is happy to entertain those around him. He performed in Canada, the US, Germany, Tunisia, France, England and Ethiopia besides Malta. But his greatest contribution was to the Maltese tourism industry and animation.

Many tourists still keep in touch with him and some even return purposely to watch his shows. Many animators thank him for working close with them and sharing his skills when he was chief animator and coordinator.

Before starting to work as animator Leguesse attended the Manoel Theatre Academy for Dramatic Arts where he got a distinction and from then he never stopped entertaining people. He attended courses in graphic and industrial design but he is self-taught in painting,

This is his next achievement. He has a good number of paintings inspired by Maltese and Ethiopian culture. His styles are varied from landscape to portrait, realistic and modern. There is no genre that he does not try and succeed.

Some of Leguesse’s paintings are currently being exhibited at the Cavalieri Art Hotel in St Julian’s until January 3.
