ATTARD. On December 23, at Mater Dei Hospital, MAURICE of Sliema and residing in Fgura, aged 80, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his devoted wife Yvonne, his dear sister Betty, his in-laws Helen and her husband Joe, and Mario and his wife Catherine, his nieces Vanessa, Karen and Lorna and their respective husbands Mark, Gordon and Christopher and their children Luke, Kurt, Giulia and James, as well as other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday, December 26, at 7.45am for Christ the King parish church, Paola, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
CAMILLERI. On December 24, at home, ROSE MARIE of Valletta, aged 84, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Alfred, her daughters Marisa, Stefania and her husband Joe, and Josianne, her grandsons Luke, Nick and Matthew, her sister Antoinette Giglio and her husband’s brothers and sisters, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday, December 26, for St Paul Shipwrecked parish church, Valletta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. DEBONO. Suddenly, on December 24, EMANUEL (Leli ta’ Nora), aged 97. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Frances, his daughters Nina and her husband Anthony Borg, Gina and her husband France Vella, Rita and her husband Joe Vella, and Elena and her husband Alessandro Zammit, his grandchildren Rosmarie, Claire, Sarah, George, Simon, Thomas, David, Letizia, and Fabio, his great-grandchildren Mattias, Andreas, Julian, Emma, Niccolo, Danilo, and Andrew, his brother Carmel and his wife Ġemma, their families, other relatives and friends. Funeral Mass præsente cadavere will be said tomorrow, Wednesday, December 26, at 3pm, at St George parish church, Qormi, followed by interment at the Resurrection Cemetery, Qormi. DIMECH. On December 22, TESSIE of Marsa, aged 82, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her son Richard and his wife Marija, her daughter Marika and her husband Adrian, her grandchildren Erika, Lindsay and Emma, her sisters and brother, relatives and friends. MUSCAT. On December 21, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH of Birkirkara, aged 94, passed over peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Tarcisia, his five children and their families: Andre, Marco, Franco, Juanita and Daniel, their respective spouses Jennifer, Margaret, Gillian, Gian and Juliana, his grandchildren Karl, Jean-Marc, Matthew, Leah, Sarah, Malcolm, Sophie, Kirsten and Adrienne, their partners Rebecca, Thays, Sara, Lindsey, and his great-grandson Leo, his brothers Victor and Louis and their respective wives Hilde and Diana and all his nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Thursday, December 27, at 8.45am for the old church of Santa Maria in Birkirkara where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 9.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. PULLICINO. On December 22, at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre, CHRISTOPHER, aged 50, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Mother Church. He will always be lovingly remembered by his wife Louise nèe Camoin, his sons Luigi and Miguel, his parents Frank and Josephine, his brothers Daniel and Alessia, Robert and Lisa, his parents-in-law Michael and Carmen Camoin, his brother-in-law Etienne and Lilly, his nephew Julian and nieces Mattea and Elena, other relatives and friends. The funeral will leave Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre on Wednesday, December 26, for St Julians parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
SALIBA. On December 24, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Hospital, DOLORES, passed away peacefully at the age of 86, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She will be greatly missed by her sister Connie and her husband Emmanuel, by her nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Thursday, December 27, at 7am, for Our Lady of Sorrows (Marija Addolorata) parish church, St Paul’s Bay, where funeral Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8am, followed by interment at the Divine Mercy (Ħniena Divina) Cemetery, St Paul’s Bay. No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares, Mater Dei Hospital, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
ZAMMIT. On December 21, LINA, of Charles Babywear, from Sliema, passed away aged 83. She leaves to mourn her loss her sister Ċensina and her husband Lino, her brother Alfred and his wife Carmen, her brother Charles and his wife Rita, her nephews and nieces and close friends. A funeral Mass will be held today, Monday, December 24, at 9.30am at Stella Maris parish church, Sliema. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
