The Sunday Times of Malta says the Corinthia Group will be paying the government just €17 million to build up to 100,000 square metres of residential and office property in St George’s Bay. In another story it says Archbishop Charles Scicluna is promoting new “structures of accountability and audit” within the Church to handle child sexual abuse by members of the clergy.

The Malta Independent on Sunday says Tourism Minister Konrad Mizzi is insisting the Corinthia Group are not getting a discount on land in St George’s Bay.

Malta Today says Corinthia land values have been discounted by 57%.
