CYPRUS

Andre Schembri featured in Apollon Limassol's two latest outings, in the UEFA Europa League and in the domestic league.

In the European competition, Schembri and his Apollon crew wrapped up their commitments with a 3-1 win away at Olympique Marseille. The Maltese player put up a solid showing, managing also to earn Apollon's penalty which opened the score early in the first half.

Meanwhile, in the Cyprus league, Apollon grind out a point in a nerve-wrecking 3-3 draw agaisnt AEK Larnaca.

They are now third on 26 points, five behind leaders AEL but with a game in hand.

ITALY

Zach Muscat played full game as Pistoiese slipped to a 1-0 loss at Pro Vercelli in Serie C, Girone A.

Pistoiese have now fallen to 19th and just two points off the bottom of the table.

Martina Borg featured in Fortitudo Mozzecane's 2-0 win over Lazio in the Italian Serie B.

Her team is now third on 17 points, seven distant from leaders Inter. 

Meanwhile, Nicole Sciberras' Grifone Gialloverde suffered a heavy 5-0 defeat against leaders Napoli on home soil.

The Rome-based club is currently fourth on 18 points, three behind the Partenopei.

ENGLAND

Luke Gambin played full game for Crawley Town but the Reds fell 2-0 at the hands of Macclesfield Town, in League 2.

Ebbsfleet United's run in the FA Trophy was halted by Dag & Red who emerged winners 1-0. Sam Magri played full game for the Fleet.

Different fortunes for the U-19's squad though, as Maltese player James Magri played in Ebbsfleet United's 9-1 rout of Bromley in the National League U-19's Alliance.

Andrea Borg featured for the whole game in St Neots Town FC's 6-1 defeat against Barwell Town 6-1, in England's seventh-tier. 

Meanwhile, Megan Jones, who represented Malta at youth level and is on the radar of the senior team played for Southampton women's team in the 3-1 win over Bournemouth.

NETHERLANDS

Rachel Cuschieri's PSV Eindhoven have cemented their lead atop the domestic championship with two important wins.

First, they defeated Achilles' 29 9-1 before beating ADO Den Haag 2-1, both away from home.
