From Saturday, December 22 to Sunday, January 6, the first 1,000 students who will visit any of the Heritage Malta museums and sites in Valletta, and at the Citadel in Gozo, will get a free gift pack.
Heritage Malta’s locations in Valletta are: The National Museum of Archaeology, The Palace Armoury, The Palace State Rooms, Fort St Elmo which houses also The National War Museum, The Fortifications Interpretation Centre, and MUŻA the national-community art museum.
Heritage Malta’s locations at the Citadel are: The Gozo Museum of Archaeology, The Gran Castello Historic House, The Old Prison, and The Gozo Nature Museum.
When presenting their Heritage Malta card, students may be accompanied by two adults who will also have free access to the sites. Students should ensure that their Heritage Malta passport is stamped at each site which they visit since these stamps are collectible.
Students are also encouraged to use the festive Christmas season to visit these interesting sites in order to learn and appreciate more the history and cultural heritage of the Maltese Islands.
