A 26-year-old motorcyclist from San Ġwann was grievously injured in an accident in his hometown on Thursday.

The police said the accident happened in Triq Mensija at 7.15am.

The motorcyclist was riding a Triumph which was involved in a collision with an Isuzu driven by a 44-year-old man, also from San Ġwann.

In the accident, a parked Citroen C1 was also damaged.

The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance.

The police are investigating.
