Eddy Privitera still does not get it! And he seems to have run out of steam as his ‘Top three gems’ (December 13) is a regurgitation of previous moans about Adrian Delia.

Remember the adage ‘what’s good for the goose is good for the gander’? What that means – and I have explained this previously – is that whatever he writes about Delia and Nationalist Party is relative to Joseph Muscat and the Labour Party.

Just to jog his memory, here are just two gems from Joseph who, prior to the election, had promised he would “eradicate corruption” and govern with “transparency, meritocracy and accountability”. Instead, corruption is rife within this government, which put paid to the other three promises. It is transparent (if you don’t mind the pun) to anyone with a modicum of intelligence that Muscat blatantly lied to win the election and start his ‘road map’ to feather his and his close friends’ nests.

Incidentally, Konrad Mizzi has now been given the job of overseeing a new multi-million national security project, which should fall under the remit of Home Office Minister Michael Farrugia. As Privitera seems to be au fait with what goes on in his party, can he elucidate us as to why Muscat keeps giving Mizzi all the multi-million euro projects that tempt corruption?
