BUSUTTIL. On December 18, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARY LOUISE, née Pizzuto, of Msida, residing at Żebbuġ, aged 49, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Emanuel, her father John Pizzuto, widower of Monica, and his partner Mary Zammit, her sister Jacqueline and her husband John Dimech, her nephew Jonathan and her niece Janelle, her mother in-law Rosina, her in-laws Louis, Philippa, Carmen and Margaret, their respective spouses, other nephews and nieces, her uncle Gino Galea, cousins, relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Wednesday, December 19, at 1.15pm for St Philip of Agira parish church, Żebbuġ, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
SERGE. On December 14, LEE, passed away peacefully. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her daughter Karen and her husband Anthony Diacono, her grandchildren Emma and Kristoff, Sarah, Chris and Ben, her great-grandchildren Max, Charlie and Ana, her family in the UK and Australia, her devoted carer Christine and other relatives and friends. Funeral Mass præsente cadavere will be said today, Wednesday, December 19, at 2pm, at St Gregory’s parish church, Sliema, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

Thanksgiving Mass
Fr Dominic V. Scerri, OP, will be conducting a solemn Mass of thanksgiving tomorrow at 6.30pm at the Sanctuary Basilica of Jesus of Nazareth, Sliema, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of his priesthood Ordination.
A reception, at the De Porres Pastoral and Cultural Centre, in Tigné Seafront, Sliema, will be held after Mass. Fr Dominic’s friends are invited to hear Mass and attend the reception.
