The following are the top stories in Malta's newspapers on Sunday.

The Sunday Times of Malta reports that corruption costs Malta €725 million per year, according to a study by the European Greens. That is more than is spent annually on education.

The newspaper also reports that there is no discussion on the 'Delia case' within the structures of the PN, a week after the newspaper reported that the PN leader is part of an investigation into alleged money laundering when he worked as a lawyer 14 years ago. 

The Malta Independent on Sunday quotes Air Malta chairman Charles Mangion as saying that the airline is not currently seeking a strategic partner, but is focussing on growth. 

It also reports that 27 couples opted for IVF treatment after recently-approved legislation. Nine are expected a baby, the prime minister announced last week. 

MaltaToday says that two doctors who flagged a case where an air ambulance was not immediately available to ferry a heart attack patient from Gozo to Malta have been transferred out of Gozo hospital. Steward Healthcare says it was the two doctors themselves who asked to be transferred. 

The newspaper also reports that former PBS CEO John Bundy has admitted to having recorded board meetings without consent. He passed on the recordings to third parties. Mr Bundy spoke about the case before the Industrial Tribunal, where he has filed an unfair dismissal case.  

Il-Mument says the government is considering whether to call a referendum on the introduction of abortion. 

It-Torċa reports that prices for electricity purchases through the interconnector are expected to continue to rise, and it costs Enemalta less to buy electricity from the new gas power station. The newspaper also reports that the number of routes from Malta airport increased by 21 per cent in 2018. 

Illum features comments by socialist MEP Ana Gomes, who is calling on PN leader Adrian Delia to resign over money laundering allegations. She told the newspaper that his position hinders the fight against corruption.
