The role of the Virgin Mary in the context of ecumenical dialogue is the theme of a public lecture being held by the Diocesan Ecumenical Commission at the Archbishop’s Curia, Floriana, tomorrow at 6.30pm.

The lecture, entitled ‘Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary: Mary, a Stumbling Block or a Door to Unity?’ will be delivered by Judith Povilus, an internationally acclaimed mathematician from the US, a member of the Focolare Movement and one of the founders of Sophia University, Loppiano, Italy.

Judith Povilus’ talk is being held tomorrow at 6.30pm in the Old Refectory of the Archbishop’s Curia, Floriana (entrance through Lion Street). Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.
