After four decades of EU membership, the UK voted in a referendum to end its relationship with the EU. After months of tough negotiations with Brussels to bring about a good Brexit deal, very few Conservative MPs are optimistic that Prime Minister Theresa May could face down her harsh critics, mainly led by Boris Johnson. Unfortunately, and to my personal regret, this will be a moment of high political danger for May because she may lose her job as Prime Minister.

Conservative MPs in the UK have been putting spokes in the wheels for quite some time now. Their only desire is to topple her. They arrogantly slammed her Brexit deal by calling it a complete surrender to the EU.

During a bruising session in the Commons, Conservative backbenchers and former ministers branded the deal an absolute shame on May and the government she leads.

In a bid to win support from British citizens, May is making a desperate dash around the UK for her Brexit deal to be approved with one goal in mind: to deliver on the referendum in a way that brings the UK together again.

Unfortunately for her, there is a web of conspiracy by at least nine ex-ministers and several MPs, led by Johnson, manoeuvring to topple her. They are saying her deal cannot provide certainty to business because it is a huge gamble.

The paradox at the heart of Brexit is only now becoming apparent. It was brutally exposed by Johnson himself when he handed his resignation.

Everyone seems to be dissatisfied. No room left for reconciliation.

Apparently, the Brexit argument will continue forever.
