Tonio Grech has been putting up the Nativity scene at the Nadur MUSEUM (boys section) for the past 24 years. The crib is made up of għeruq tal-qasab and tree trunks. He takes more than three months to build. The Nativity characters (pasturi) are over 55 years old and most of the miniatures are brought directly from Italy and Spain. Mr Grech applies the latest light technology using LEDs and lasers. The crib will be blessed on December 14 and will remain open until mid-January. It will be open daily from 6pm.
