Around 400 schoolchildren took part in a diocesan celebration marking the feast of Christ the King at St Joseph parish church in Qala. Various seminarians addressed the children, focusing mainly on the love of St Aloysius Gonzaga, who left his powerful family to become a Jesuit priest and died as a young man caring for plague victims. As part of the celebration, the children offered donations to the Major Seminary. Left: Seminarian Carlos Vargas of Guatemala, who is studying at the Gozo seminary, is seen offering mementos to children.
