Daphne Caruana Galizia’s family on Friday reiterated its call to the Prime Minister to hold a public inquiry into Ms Caruana Galizia’s assassination in a final attempt to avoid litigating that request.

Ms Caruana Galizia was killed in a car bomb October 16, 2017.

The family said it was supported by a legal opinion prepared by the family’s international team of lawyers dated November 30, which concluded that Malta was required to establish a public inquiry without further delay pursuant to its obligations under the European Convention on Human Rights, which protected the right to life.
