Work-life balance
Sara Lantz – Junior Affiliate Manager
What is it like being part of the Videoslots team?
Many operators claim to offer their employees the perfect work-life balance, but in reality, that just doesn’t happen.
However, at Videoslots staff members really can enjoy a flexible approach to their working hours thanks to the trust that is placed in them. A happy employee is a good employee, and the management team is always available to give further advice and to help guide us to progression.
Casinos are always talking about player retention, but staff retention can be just as important and the work-life balance is just one of many reasons why the Videoslots team is so close.
Encouraging innovation
Linda Cash – Affiliate Manager
What motivates you and other members of the Videoslots affiliate team?
There is always a new game, a new territory and new challenge to life as an affiliate in the Videoslots team. Innovation is always encouraged and it’s great to be able to be creative despite being in a traditional office job. It’s safe to say that no day in the office is ever the same and with the target of becoming a top-10 online casino brand in the coming years, everybody has a common goal they are striding for as well as personal targets.
Real buzz
Kim Lindsjö – Senior Affiliate Manager
What are you most excited about for your company in 2018?
Videoslots prides itself on being the biggest and best online casino, with games from all of the top suppliers including NetEnt, Realistic and dozens of others. Every day is exciting as every day is different, but we are all pushing hard for our 3,000th slot game at the moment, so there is a real buzz around the office as we begin the countdown.
Constant learning
Philip Kårsjö – Senior Affiliate Manager
What obstacles do you face when it comes to creating great content?
With so many games going live, there is always a constant challenge to ensure we retain quality while still delivering quantity. A constant stream of quality content designed to touch on newsworthy and engaging topics is the ideal scenario for the Videoslots team, but it’s no easy task and ensuring quality control can often be a job in its own right.
We’re always learning when it comes to finding that balance but with some of the best content writers in the industry, we believe we are a step ahead of our rivals.
Getting bigger
Myron (Miles) Saacks – Head of Affiliates
A year is a long time in the iGaming industry. What developments do you expect to see?
Influencers and social media have never been bigger and it feels like only a matter of time before the affiliate world uses them to boost engagement across a wide range of channels. Instagram and Twitch are both great examples of this ability to help build relationships with brands.
We have already seen the success of gamers on Twitch, and their skills will be easily transferable to casino products. It’s always important to stay one step ahead of the chasing pack and we have a number of ideas we will be looking to bring to fruition over the next few months and beyond.
