What makes BitStarz different from other casino experiences?

You guys have probably heard it all before, some casino out of hundreds trying to claim they’re unique, offering more games that all casinos in Las Vegas combined, better bonuses than Wall Street bankers and only licensed therapists as support agents. We do approach things a bit differently though, so let’s get to it.

The way BitStarz stands out from the crowd is that we were the first to offer players the opportunity to play in Bitcoin and FIAT (fancy word for regular currencies). Today, we also give you the chance to use Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin and Dogecoin as well.

We also give crypto players in particular an abnormally large welcome package, with a total value of €20,000 spread on four bonuses. On top of that, we process all withdrawals within 10 minutes on average, regardless of what country you’re playing from. Great, right?

We’ve also been acknowledged as the Best Online Casino 2017 by AskGamblers, and shortlisted at the EGR Awards for CRM Campaign of the Year and for Innovation in Casino.

What gaming technology powers your online casino?

Most of the casinos in Malta pretty much have the same game selection – NetEnt, PlayN’Go, Yggdrasil, Evolution and others. These are all fantastic, and have a place in our casino too, but we offer a lot of quite rare game providers as well that a lot of people never heard of (just like BitStarz), such as Amatic, BGaming, Booming and Belatra.

What customer demand is there for bitcoin casinos?

There’s no doubt that cryptocurrencies have gained a lot of attention lately, and we do see a lot of people getting interested in using them and noticing the benefits of doing so.

As long as you can get over the abstract feeling of this just being ”internet money”, you’re able to enjoy advantages such as never having your funds frozen by some intermediaries (banks, payment providers, e-wallets), being able to track your payments publicly online and experience deposits and withdrawals that are virtually instant.

The fact that we’ve also added four more cryptocurrencies on top of Bitcoin is also a sign that people are not just interested in just a single one but are curious about the concept as a whole.

You also have an affiliate programme in place. What are its unique selling points?

We have an exquisite affiliate program and we’re always trying to keep up with the fast-paced market by adding some new incentives. Our standard package involves revenue share from 25 per cent up to 40 per cent and no negative carryover. Payments are always executed by the fifth of the month, almost always on the first.

Also, what stands out is that our affiliates have the option to be paid both in BTC and EUR which has, for some of them, proven to be highly profitable as the introduction of BTC on their websites enabled them to multiply their revenues by attracting new players who wanted to use cryptocurrencies.

With the great job our CRM team is doing, I think that, for now, this strategy provides some pretty good results.

You also use cryptographic solutions to ensure fair play. How does this work?

We’re quite excited to have this in place to be honest. We do understand that when it comes to playing casino in general, people want to make sure that the games they’re playing are fair, and that they’re given rightful chance to win.

But even though we and other casinos display that all games are fitted with a verified random number generator and that we’re licensed and regulated by a government authority, this isn’t always enough for some to convince them that everything is fair, but don’t get us wrong, it’s important to ask questions and be sceptical.

We’re always happy to explain what measures we have in place to ensure fair play, and in order to add an extra layer of transparency, the idea of a provably fair system came into place.

We could give a very technical explanation, but we’ll try to use a very simple analogy. How it works in a nutshell is that prior to the game round starting, the slot will print out the result of the game round and put it in a box.

After the game round has finished, you will have the opportunity to look inside the box and see if the game result on the screen matches what’s in the box.

If these two matches, it means that the game round finished correctly, without any manipulation taking place while playing. I think that’s the simplest way I can put it.

In what ways will you be engaging with participants at SiGMA 2018?

We just look kind of scary, but we’re actually pretty nice. We can’t force you to hang out with us, but we encourage all affiliates – old friends and potential new ones – to stop by and talk about where we believe the Bitcoin Price will be in two years, the next big thing for online casinos and which place in Malta has the best pastizzi.

Don’t be a stranger, come hang out with us at stand ST194!
