Times of Malta says 96 patients have been prescribed medical cannabis since the amendment to the law in March this year. In another story, it says a tomb in a corner of the historic Msida Bastion Cemetery belongs to the sister of a saintly British nun who lived in Malta.

The Malta Independent says that in a landmark ruling on Wednesday, a woman convicted of heroin trafficking saw her 12-month prison sentence overturned in a judgement that may affect every conviction based on statements released under police interrogation between 2010 and 2016.
