In a front-page report on the Attorney General and his power (November 17) it was said that Peter Grech (the Attorney General) defended his decision to hand a copy ofthe Egrant inquiry report to the Prime Minister “because the case involved the person occupying the highest political post in the country”.

Did he tell the MEPs he also gave copies to Owen Bonnici, Pawlu Lia and Kurt Farrugia?

I suppose the Attorney General is aware of the saying ‘you can fool some people some of the time..’.

I do not think Farrugia shares the position of the “highest political post” with the Prime Minister, nor does Lia and Bonnici is only a Cabinet member.

Come off it, Grech. As Konrad Mizzi often says: Shame on you.
