The Nationalist Party general council will be holding daily meetings from Monday November 19 to Sunday November 25 as it discusses policies centred on the idea of a “society that cares”.

At a press conference held on Saturday morning, PN secretary general Clyde Puli emphasised the party’s belief that more could be done to ensure economic prosperity was better distributed throughout society.

Mr Puli said the council document would look at future challenges the country would face, how the government’s demographic choices were impacting the country and the economic, social and environmental impacts of the government’s policies.

It would also assess the reputational damage Malta was suffering as a result of corruption allegations swirling around top officials, Mr Puli said.

PN leader Adrian Delia will close off the council’s week-long deliberations on Sunday.
