CHAPPELL. On November 15, at Mater Dei Hospital, RAYMOND, residing in San Ġwann, ex-RAF and former Telemalta employee, aged 84, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Mary, his children Jeffrey and his wife Jacqueline, Adrian and his wife Denise, his grandchildren Kayleigh, Amy, Nathan, Krista and Hannah, his brother and sisters, in-laws, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. GAFFIERO. On Thursday, November 15, at Mater Dei Hospital, GEMMA of Paola, widow of Tarcisio, aged 79, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her sons Anthony and his partner Svetlana, Alex and Ivan, her grandchildren James, Elsa and their mother Juanita, her brothers and sisters and their families, in-laws, other relatives, and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Saturday, November 17, at 8am, for Christ the King parish church, Paola, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. GRECH HARDIE. On November 15, at Mater Dei Hospital, CARMEN of Attard, widow of Charles, passed away peacefully at the age of 86, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughters Mary, Victoria and her husband Omar, Elizabeth and her husband Antonio, her son John and his wife Sephora, her grandchildren Deborah, Andrew and Damiano, her brother Andrew and his wife Josephine, relatives and friends. LENICKER. On November 16, CARMEN of Birkirkara, widow of Eberhard, aged 105, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Dr Herbert and his wife Eileen, Luise and her husband Tancred Vella and Daniel and his wife Gemma, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law Lilly Schneider, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Monday, November 19, at 8am, for St Mary’s parish church (Knisja l-Qadima), Birkirkara, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. MUSCAT. On November 15, at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre, JOSEPH of Mellieħa, aged 70, passed away. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Mary, née Vella, his precious daughters Judith and her husband Keith Cilia and Antoinette and her husband James Corby, his grandchildren Nicole, Craig, Benjamin James and Helena Rose, his brother and sisters and their spouses, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Saturday, November 17, at 2.15pm, for the Nativity of Our Lady (Maria Bambina) parish church, Mellieħa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment at the Queen of Victories Cemetery, Mellieħa. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Saturday, November 17, at 1.45pm, for St Mary’s parish church, Għaxaq, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Għaxaq cemetery.
