The following are the top stories in Malta's newspapers on Tuesday.

Times of Malta quotes Adrian Delia saying in Parliament that the 17 Black report, issued on Friday, was about facts, not rumour. The newspaper also reports how a Gozo quarry has continued illegal operations.

The Malta Independent carries a big picture of George Hyzler being sworn in as Commissioner for Standards in Public Life. It also reports how Adrian Delia questioned how a prime minister who is not afraid of taking decisions, would not act against Konrad Mizzi and Keith Schembri in the wake of the 17 Black revelations.

In-Nazzjon reports that parliament debated an emergency motion calling for the resignation of Tourism Minister Konrad Mizzi and chief of staff Keith Schembri.

l-orizzont focuses on a strike by a number of contract workers engaged by Gozo Channel on Monday, saying the action was a vindictive act against Gozitan workers.
