Parliament on Monday held an emergency debate on the 17 Black revelations.

The debate was requested by the Opposition, which called for the resignation of Tourism Minister Konrad Mizzi and Chief of Staff Keith Schembri.

The news has refocused attention on the Electrogas power station deal, which was won by a consortium featuring Yorgen Fenech as a partner and director, and who has been revealed as the ultimate beneficial owner of 17 Black.

The prime minister and Dr Mizzi were not present for the debate. No vote was taken. Apart from those shown below, other speakers included Nationalist MP David Stellini, Labour MPs Rosianne Cutajar, Edward Zammit Lewis, Glenn Bedingfield and Alex Muscat and Marlene Farrugia (PD).
