Four parked cars were destroyed in a fierce fire in Fgura late on Sunday.

The blaze, at Triq Vincenzo Maculano, was reported at about 11.45pm.

Slight damage was also caused to a nearby residence.

The vehicles were a BMW520D, a Peugeot 307, a Toyota Vitz and a Nissan March.

No one was injured.

The police are investigating.
