XUEREB. On Friday, November 9, at St James Hospital, Sliema, DONIA, née Mercieca, aged 84, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her husband John, her children Elvia, Chris and his wife Maria, Charmaine and her husband Mark, Jacqui and her husband John, her grandson Nikolai, her sister Jo, in-laws, their respective spouses, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, today, Saturday, November 10, at 1.30pm, for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Balluta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2pm, followed by private interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Ursuline Crèche Sisters, Sliema, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
