CACHIA. On November 7, at Simblija Care Home, Naxxar, JOAN of Sliema, aged 79, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her sister Emily Pace Ross, widow of George, her brother Edward and Bernadette, her nephews Michael and Lucienne, David and Yvette, Peter and Mireille, Chris and Michela, and her niece Maria Elena and Michael, her eight grand-nephews and grand-nieces, and other relatives and friends in Malta and abroad. Mass præsente cadavere will be said tomorrow, Saturday, November 10, at 9am, at the Divine Mercy Sanctuary, San Pawl tat-Tarġa, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. VELLA. On November 7, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIA MONICA, at the age of 61, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband Michael, her children Justin and his wife Josianne, Dennis and his wife Trudy, her grandchildren, Jhansi and Michele, her sisters Rita and Vanessa, in-laws and their respective families, other relatives and friends. VINCENTI KIND. On Thursday, November 8, at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, ANNE, née Xuereb, went to meet the Risen Lord and her beloved husband Richard. She leaves to celebrate her life her loving daughters Bernadette, Theresa, wife of Peter Paul Testaferrata Moroni Viani, Lynn and Mark Grima, Karen, wife of Julian Sammut; her beloved grandchildren Richard and Leslie Ann, Michael, Sarah and Luke, Mark, Peter and Sarah, Alexia and Karl, Andrea and Erika, Nikol and Justine, Marija and Nicky, Rafel and Naomi; her great-grandchildren, Jacques, Kyra, Oliver, Hannah, Jamie, Emily, Luke and Susanna; her sister Doris Formosa, her in-laws Irene Xuereb and Chris Cassar, her nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and all the staff at Kind’s Auto Sales Ltd. XUEREB. On Friday, November 9, at St James Hospital, Sliema, DONIA, née Mercieca, aged 84, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her husband John, her children Elvia, widow of Andrew, Chris and his wife Maria, Charmaine and her husband Mark, Jacqui and her husband John, her grandson Nikolai, her sister Jo, in-laws, their respective spouses, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, tomorrow, Saturday, November 10, at 1.30pm, for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Balluta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2pm, followed by private interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
