CACHIA. On November 7, at Simblija Care Home, Naxxar, JOAN of Sliema, aged 79, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her sister Emily Pace Ross, widow of George, her brother Edward and Bernadette, her nephews Michael and Lucienne, David and Yvette, Peter and Mireille, Chris and Michela, and her niece Maria Elena and Michael, her eight grand nephews and nieces, and other relatives and friends in Malta and abroad. Mass præsente cadavere will be said on Saturday, November 10, at 9am, at the Divine Mercy Sanctuary, San Pawl tat-Tarġa, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. SAMMUT. On November 6, at Mater Dei Hospital, THERESA (Żeża), of Rabat, aged 90, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by her daughter Mary Rose, widow of Michel, grandchildren Andrew and his girlfriend Chanelle, and Aaron, her siblings Jessie, widow of Peter Paul Vassallo, Benny and her husband Anthony Tanti, Kelinu, widower of her sister Antonia, John and his wife Tessie Xuereb and Ċikku Xuereb who lives in Canada, Joe Formosa, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Wednesday, November 7, at 3.15pm, for Ta’ Ġieżu church, Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 4pm, followed by interment in the family vault at Santa Margherita Cemetery, Rabat. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, would be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
