A 50-minute drama/dance performance entitled Lest We Forget, set to music by Claude Debussy and poetry by Rudyard Kipling, Wilfred Owen and other ‘war poets’, will be performed at the Manoel Theatre on Saturday and Sunday.

During the piece, which forms part of the theatre’s Toi Toi programme, the audience will accompany a young soldier as he embarks on a most fearful journey. They will see, hear and experience what it meant to go to war and what effect it had on the people of Malta. A short movement-based workshop with the audience will follow the performance.

The Lest We Forget drama/dance performance will take place at the Manoel Theatre Studio Theatre, Valletta, on Saturday and Sunday at 11am and 12.30pm. It is recommended for children aged 11+. For bookings, visit www.teatrumanoel.com.mt.
