The amount of alcohol that drivers can legally consume is to be cut dramatically in a bid to reduce accidents, according to the Times of Malta. The newspaper also reveals that some of the guards at Mount Carmel are not licensed.

In-Nazzjon carries a report on another speech by Opposition leader Adrian Delia, accusing the government of being focussed on statistics and not people. It also reports on the harrowing abuse of a minor by her mother's partner.
