BARTOLO. On October 31, at Mater Dei Hospital, DOLORA FIORINA known as Lola, of Swieqi, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her husband Alexander, her sisters Stella, Thelma, Paola, Louisa and Olanda, nephews and nieces in Malta and Ireland, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital for Our Lady of Mount Carmel church, Balluta, on Saturday at 8am where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

CASSAR. On November 1, at Mater Dei Hospital, BEATRICE (Bice) of Valletta, residing at Ħamrun, aged 88. Sadly missed by her children Albert and his wife Tessie, Marlene, widow of Mario Demicoli, Christopher and his wife Mary, Alexander and his wife Anita, her grandchildren, David, Jacqueline, Janette, Joseph, Audrey-Anne, John and Matthew, her great-granddaughter Martina, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, November 3, at 7.45am, for the Immaculate Conception parish church, Ħamrun, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.15am, followed by interment in the family vault at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. GATT. On October 31, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPHINE of Sliema, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her son George and his wife Lesley, her grandchildren Charlotte, Kelly, Ashley, and Frankie, her great-grandchildren Imogen and Riley, son-in-law Russel, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Monday, November 5, at 8am, for Jesus of Nazareth parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Breast Cancer Foundation, Mosta, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

McELHATTON. On November 1, at Mater Dei Hospital, M’DOLORES (Doris) of Gżira, widow of Gerald, aged 93, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Patricia, widow of Edwin Schembri, Alfred and his wife Marisa, Dr James and his wife Doreen, Denis and his wife Doris, and Dr Anna, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her sister Paula, widow of Charles Meredith, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, November 3, at 8am, for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Gżira, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at St Andrew’s Cemetery, Luqa. PARNIS. On October 30, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIA GLADYS, widow of Vincent, aged 84, passed away peacefully. She leaves to mourn her loss her son Noel and his wife Natalie, her grandson Liam Joseph, her sister Lucy and husband Lars, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Thursday, November 1, at 1pm, for St Mary’s parish church (Il-Knisja l-Qadima), Birkirkara, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 1.30pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, would be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
