GATT. On Saturday, October 27, at Mater Dei Hospital, former MP GEORGE GATT, aged 77, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his devoted wife Carmen, his dearest children Sammy and his wife Anne Marie, Marian and her husband Charlie Borg, Josie and her husband Jason Micallef, Jonathan and his wife Nadia, Elaine and her husband Mario Grima, his grandchildren Samantha, Roxanne, Matthew, Shannon, Andrea, Marc, Nicole, Elisa, Noah and baby Thea.
Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated today, Tuesday, October 30, at Mosta Basilica at 3pm, followed by private burial.
Lord, grant him eternal rest.
GRECH. On Monday, October 29, LAWRENCE of Victoria, Gozo, aged 88, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his devoted wife Maria, his dearest children, Michael and his wife Anna, Frankie and his wife Josalda, George and his wife Josienne, his grandchildren David and his wife Miriam, Janet and her husband Adrian Mizzi, Ruth and her husband Danny Magro, Sarah, Nicholas and Lauren and great-grandchildren Gabriel and Rafael.
The funeral cortège leaves Gozo General Hospital tomorrow, Wednesday, October 31, at 3.30pm, for St George’s Basilica, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 4pm, followed by interment at St Mary’s Cemetery.
