CUSCHIERI. On October 17, MAURICE TIMOTHY of Sydney, Australia, aged 89, passed away peacefully, after a short illness, so bravely borne. He leaves to mourn his loss his loving and devoted daughters Louise and Marianne and her husband Ian, his beloved grandchildren Reece and Jessica, his sisters Imelda Borg Bartolo and Ethel Buttigieg and his brother Alfred and his wife Mona, his sister-in-law Marthese, his nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. His laying to rest will be held today, Monday, October 29, in Sydney, Australia, and a Mass for his repose is being held today at 6.30pm at the Hilltop Gardens chapel, Naxxar. Maurice was a loving husband to Joan (deceased), cherished dad of Louise, Marianne, Giannine (deceased), wonderful father-in-law to Ian and proud and loved nannu to Reece and Jessica. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
GATT. On Saturday, October 27, at Mater Dei Hospital, former MP GEORGE Gatt, aged 77, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his devoted wife Carmen, his dearest children Sammy and his wife Anne Marie, Marian and her husband Charlie Borg, Josie and her husband Jason Micallef, Jonathan and his wife Nadia, Elaine and her husband Mario Grima, his grandchildren Samantha, Roxanne, Matthew, Shannon, Andrea, Marc, Nicole, Elisa, Noah and baby Thea. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated tomorrow, Tuesday, October 30, at the Mosta Basilica at 3pm, followed by a private burial. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
MAISTRE. On Friday, October 26, at Mater Dei Hospital, GEORGETTE, née Camilleri, (Maistre Stationers, Valletta), aged 64, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her devoted husband Louis, her dearest mother Ivy, her sisters and brothers, Anouk and her husband Paul Ellul Sullivan; Josef and his wife Anita; Michel; Victoire and her husband Adrian Manfre, her nieces and nephews, Vibeke and her husband David Pace and their daughters Ella and Ida; Gaston and his fiancée Justine; Fae and her husband Frank Borg and their children Matteo and Bea; Greta and her husband Daniel Tabone and their daughter Eva; and Tyron. She also leaves to mourn her loss her uncles, aunts, her many cousins, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated today at 2pm at the Sanctuary of the Divine Mercy, San Pawl tat-Tarġa, Naxxar, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers but donations to Caritas Malta, Floriana, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
